Share a password between devices

You need to log in on a new laptop but the password lives in your phone's password manager. FastPaste lets you move it once without email, chat, or a permanent link.

Steps

1. On the phone, copy the password from your manager.
2. Open FastPaste → Push → paste the text → generate a 6-digit code.
3. On the laptop, open FastPaste → Pull → enter the code.
4. Paste into the login form. The clip is deleted from the server immediately.

Tips

• Choose Sensitive mode and a passphrase if the secret is highly sensitive (zero-knowledge).
• Use the shortest TTL that still gives you time to pull (e.g. 5–10 minutes).
• Never screenshot the code in a chat — say it verbally or use QR on the same desk.
